About me:

The journey to getting here has been long and difficult – but now I feel that the things I have endured, survived and learned from are some of the very things that make me the grounded, accepting and loving person and counsellor I am today.

I grew up right here in the lower mainland and through a series of life events – relationships, jobs, personal self-discovery and many, many self help-books I began to grow and change. Each life experience has offered life lessons and given me the opportunity to be where I am today. I sometimes feel that without these difficult and painful times, I would not have been challenged or motivated to change and lead the very fulfilling life I enjoy today.

Later on in my career, as I began to discover my true self, I grew into Human Resources positions. I was helping people on both a professional and personal level – providing guidance, coaching, training, and mediation. It was at a local family-owned printing company where the owners trusted and encouraged me to step into this role – a true gift and opportunity for me because it was there that I discovered my passion for counselling.

In 2005 I opened my private practice in addition to giving workshops on subjects such as Anger Management, Codependency, and Non-violent communication. I love every minute of counselling – it’s creative, challenging, interesting and highly fulfilling.

In my life now I feel fulfilled and have a sense of purpose and daily joy and I’m happy to help others arrive at this place too.
